The series was basically all style and no substance, but if that's what you're looking for then Afro Samurai is the show for you.

Um, I saw The Red Violin many years ago... and I've never seen a Spike Lee movie... and I fail to see how either of those have anything to do with this topic, unless you're implying that the African-American male stereotype in movies is 'angry black man', in which case, Samuel L. Jackson simply acts the stereotype. I might like him more if he acted outside it, though, like Will Smith or Lawrence Fishburne. |
