| I like some of the things their database can do- the site's ability to compare other users' "compatibility" with yourself by what you've rated is quite a novel touch. I avoid their forums however. |

| I like some of the things ANN's database can do. Thankfully, the site doesn't have the ability to compare their generally disgusting users' "compatibility" with yourself. I avoid their forums however. Oh wait. |

The only redeeming factor about the MAL forums is that I don't feel guilty witting one liner posts there. I once posted a 5-6 line response and one of their members accused me of being long winded.
That being said, MAL does have it strengths. I love their compatibility feature. I am also sure to visit their site from time to time to add to my anime list. I just hope this acquisition doesn't add adverts to the site or make the site a paid service. Feel free to send my a friend invite from the MAL site if you wish, I would love the chance to compare anime preferences with anyone from ANN. |

| I don't use MAL for much other than the anime list itself, but I absolutely love that aspect of it. I feel like it's a way to chronicle my adventures through this particular fandom, not to mention the fact that it's a fantastic organizational tool for keeping track of where I am in what I'm watching. So long as this acquisition doesn't change the list setup or the anime database, I'm fine with it. |
