Cool review. I've been eyeing that Red XIII for a while now.
And you're not alone in wanting that Cid figure. He's gotten the shaft in just about every single line of FFVII products. WTF? |

poor Cait Sith sure he was mostly useless and a traitor to boot but his slot limit break was pretty entertaining
I could definitely go for the red and yuffie, whats the standard price for these things tho? |

Hmm. I can't remember much of Advent Children (came close to falling asleep when I watched it, IIRC), but I've always gone with YU-ffie, stressing the first syllable (the original Japanese name appears to be ユフィ). |

Well, that would've made for a dramatically different movie. |

I'll be sure to badger Square to release Barret and Cid in their Final Fantasy 7 Play Arts line, it'd kick a** to display them stealing the Hardy Daytona from Cloud on my video game rack.
Having Dr. Sid from "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" do that just doesn't count. |

Yeah, it strikes me as odd that they went with what appears to be a relatively accurate Beretta 92 for a game featuring such weapons as Cloud's buster sword. |

| Does anyone know what it would be worth to keep all of the Play Arts. Vol 2 in their packages over the course of many, many, many years? |

I've never played as much as a second of FF7 (and most likely never will), but those poses were cracking me the hell up. Your hatred for that small furry-ish thing shines through loud and clear. |

| Quote: | | Now, Square says Play Arts Vol. 2 is supposed to be available everywhere, but the only place I can find them for actual sale and not pre-order is their own Square Enix Shop, where each figure is $24.99. |
FWIW, I saw the FF VII Vol. 2 Yuffie, Sephiroth, and Vincent figures (not sure about Red XIII) at the "Fandom" store at the Mall of Georgia this weekend, along with some Vol. 1 (Tifa, Aeris, Cloud) and Advent Children figures. So they are out there to some degree... |

Nobody can predict what becomes collectible and what doesn't. Buy 'em if you want 'em and don't sweat what the resale value will be in 10 years. |
