If they so much as think about downplaying the 'gore', then they have already failed.
I'm more curious about the 'titans'. One of the freakiest things about the manga is how most of these creatures look like, well, regular folks, except with distorted proportions and no genitalia. I really hope the director and producers opt for practical effects and limit the CGI. It would go a long way to establishing that 'squirm in your seat' feeling the movie should project. |

| What? Why? What about this show told them it's good for live action? The huge titans? The complex three dimensional fights? The enormous walls? They need medium hollywood budget to make this good. Where are they gonna take it from? |
