It went through. Three times.
Anyway, thanks, I'll definitely check it out! |

Edited anime is pretty much instant trash material but after reading that article and the part with the underage bikini shoot, I actually felt legitimately disturbed. Was there seriously some teen sexploitation going on at that event? |

"...I rented the DVD from RentAnime.com and let it sit on my desk for over a month as I avoided the unpleasant task of watching it in its entirety..."
So YOU'RE the one who held up the disc! I was wondering how long it would take to arrive, and how sticky it'd be when it got here!
Please clean the discs you rent before shipping them back. |

Hey Justin, I can suggest to you another good contender for your Buried Garbage column: the '98 Yu-Gi-Oh! series done by Toei. I only just finished watching this series the other day and I can tell you that this is something worth checking out. |

To those that mentioned the Tomb of Dracula 1980 Toei TV Special, don't forget the 1981 followup Franksenstein which had better animation and was far more coherent.

Yes.

Somehow, the whole prospect of Herman Munster hanging out with Heidi of the Alps doesn't sit very well with me. |

Yes. |
I don't know how you would. From what I've heard people like the original series over Duel Monsters, so if anything you'd be making it a treasure. I think though that it might not fall under the criteria of what I've seen of Buried Treaure/Garbage. |

| Even though they're not quite as "buried" as items like this seeming gem, I'd love to see Justin get his claws into some of the drek that Sci-Fi has aired as Ani-Mondays time filler. The knowledge that someone else had forced themself to suffer through something like Psychic Wars, Vampire Wars, the X movie, or Sword for Truth would make me feel that much better about having done it myself. Or maybe he could just go right for the jugular with Virus Buster Serge...though I don't think I'd wish that one on even my worst enemy. |

lol, I've watched all of those except the X movie, which I taped but misplaced. Perhaps I was fortunate to have done so, if it's on the same level as the others.
What astounds me is that they aired about 20 or so episodes of Street Fighter II V, before abruptly stopping it and putting on Virus Buster Serge. Street Fighter II V was hardly a masterpiece, but compared to Virus Buster Serge... |

| A group of my friends and I went out of our way to track down and watch the remaining episodes together, since we'd been having so much fun with the series up until that point. The key there is that it stops at the "so bad it's awesome" level...as opposed to Virus Buster Serge, which went straight to "so bad it's just freaking terrible." |
