That is almost as odd to watch as the live-action Sazae-san movie, but still entertaining. Geez, the anime's run for 39 years?

I fathom Doraemon's current political position could be at risk from characters as experienced as Sazae-San.

One of the lunch time chat shows had their panel speculating as to who should be cast in the roles not shown. I seem to recall Beat Takeshi's name coming up...

Too bad practically no one in the West knows Sazae-san. Much like Kitarou (which I love so much).

This is a news indeed. Like Doraemon, Sazae-san is Japanese national icon.

With the show on as long as it has, sometimes people have to wonder how everybody would be years from how are they really are. That's just an example. But it's pretty funny seeing how that turned up.
