Robin, no worries. We love the strip and just can't wait for more!

I enjoy Chibi/SD characters as much as the next, but I have to say I really like the regular (Shoujo?) Nina.

I love the chibis!

Wow, Kevin looked so innocent early on. Can't imagine him that way, all bright-eyed and cheery. He's much more lovable as a cynical near-burnout.

Nina looks pretty nice in most of her early forms. (Though some were clearly less-than-good.)

I'm glad that Nina's current form as picked as the final form though.

Hey Robin I really like both Jadress and Nina, but I would like to know, why did you draw elves? Just curious. Cool

Really, the top-right corner isn't good enough for you?

Closer to topic: How exactly would one pull off a Nina recap? Short of all brand new material as told in the DMX universe (thus defeating the purpose of a slacker-strip) I mean.

OOO! Triple posting, nice one.

@Robin: Not running out of ideas already, or is it because of animefest in NYC? Wink

Acutally Robin, this is high quality work. I am surprized you had time to create this and go to Animefest NYC. This is exceptionally fine artwork, I notice that each version is indiviual and original.

Your a talented artist, you work quite hard on Anime News Nina (the Valtines comic is still my favorite among all of them) so taking a much deserved break is quite understandable.

Anime News Nina is my favorite part of Anime News Network, but even talented artists need time off. Thank you for the quality work before Animefest NYC.

Very interesting! Some designs are obviously adaptations of Jadress

Come to think of it, I'm surprised Jadress hasn't cameo'd in one form or another so far.

Anyway, extras material like this is always a welcome substitue (as long as it doesn't become the norm, obviously).

I see where people think of Nina as "ButtFace." You can see it in two of the sketches....

I must not understand what the term "butt face" means, because I can't see where any of those scretches look like an arse. Laughing

I definitely like the more mature-looking Nina over the chibi versions. I too would welcome more strips which incorporate a "Shoujo Style" Nina.

By the way, I don't see this as filler. It is more like an extra on a DVD.
