Wouldn't it make more sense to have them wear Attacker You! shirts instead? Remember that Captain Tsubasa is an anime about football and not volley ball, and Attacker You! is incredibly popular in Europe even now (it's called Jeanne et Serge in France, Mila e Shiro due cuori nella pallavolo in Italy etc...). Moreover, Monkey D. Luffy is the rubber boy, so it relates to volley ball somewhat, where players must jump higher than their counterparts, so it may not be such a bad idea... |

agreed, maybe they should try wearing Attacker you uniform. Seeing this, what next: -Viz Media promote Slam Dunk by having NBA player wearing uniform with pictures of character from the manga series. -the next Wimbledon game, every tennis player will wear uniform with character from Prince of Tennis. -to promote World Baseball Classic final, two team getting the championchip will wear uniform from two different baseball anime. One team will wear a uniform with picture of character from big windup (Ōkiku Furikabutte), and another team wears a uniform with character picture from Major. |

And Viz could also get an NFL team to wear replica uniforms of Eyeshield 21's Deimon Devil Bats. I nominate the San Diego Chargers since they've already got a real-life "Eyeshield 21" running back on their team.  |
