Oh yay, she is one of my many favorite artists online. I couldn't get into reading Blackbird many years ago because the writing made it kind of obvious that English wasn't her first language, but I loved the art style. Beautiful stuff!

Oh, man, I love Shilin's art. It's SO pretty. I've looked at her stuff wishing for a commission many a time...xD

I stumbled across the Basilica image ages ago on DeviantArt and I've been enamored with it ever since. It still remains, to this day, my most treasured discovery of all of my DeviantArt explorations.

I can't say that I've ever been as thoroughly drawn to any other piece of art as I have been with this work so it's great to see ANN feature her art, particularly when I knew little to nothing beyond the image I've been haunted by for so long.

That's pretty cool. I almost did a double take seeing her name mentioned on the front page! Laughing But congrats on getting more recognition. She's extremely talented and her future can only get that much brighter! Smile
