maybe its just the picture quality.. but thedress looks kind of cheap. and the puff sleeves are a bit old fashioned. Its a pretty cute dress but its too cosplayish for a wedding.

I've noticed before that very short skirts are more common in Japanese fashion.

I'm confused. This is exactly what was to be expected. CCS + wedding dress is exactly this. Stop being stupid people. CCS's one major point are the costumes and this is made in the spirit of that. If it would be anything else, then it wouldn't be a CCS wedding dress.
Why they decided to do this is another issue, but what they did in itself is a success.

Looking at the pictures on another site, you can see on the wall they have a couple pictures of Sakura wearing the dress, and a couple pictures of what looks like Chii wearing an entirely different dress (which would have actually been a much more dramatic wedding dress to make...).

The thing I'm not seeing is the "wedding dress" that much, just the costume in spirit of CCS. Which looks more like a dress for younger girls. If it was longer while still keeping the design, I think I would see the "wedding dress" in spirit of this design.

Now if they made a dress like that, that would've been more of a wedding dress in the theme of CCS. What they made wasn't a wedding dress, it was costume similar to what Sakura would've worn in CCS with wedding motifs. Such a shame, if they thought more wedding and less costume it could've been a really gorgeous dress that someone could've imagined wearing on their fantasy wedding day.

When I saw the first post about it, I thought "CCS wedding dress? It should (a) be too cute to actually wear at a wedding, and (b) have wings."
Looks like they made what I was expecting.
