there are some pumpkins that I just don't know what they are, they don't have any form at all, I don't mean series, I mean shape..

I know dont feel bad but yes

??? All the entries look like they were from pumpkins (or at least some sort of gourd). I'm not exactly sure what you mean with your post.

They mean that some of the pumpkins were carved so poorly, that he cannot clearly make out what it is without being told/knowing the original image/the photograph is so poor nothing can be made out without really eyeballing it. In art that would be called "form", meaning there is no real defining shape to the image carved.

Does that make sense?

Ah yes! Thanks a bunch Anime smile I understand now. You guys do have to take in consideration that it is a contest and there will be people who enter with multiple levels of skill in pumpkin carving. Now that I understand his comment, I don't think it was appropriate. I'm sure some of the people who entered are not 'masters' to any degree, but they still tried, and had the courage to show off their work. Dissing them is just immature.

On a side note, I can't wait to see who the winners are! I've been dying of anticipation. (Not entirely, I'm more or less just impatient!) Mr. Green

Also remember that the best picture is not always used. I sent in a few picture and the one posted was possibly the worst. On some of the pumpkins the daylight picture may have looked better, but very few of the day pictures were shown.

Some people sent in 10+ images, and it was hard to decide which one to post. Generally, I posted the best night-time photo, even if the daytime one looked better, because jack o'lanterns are meant to be viewed at night. There were some pumpkins that were painted that looked lovely in the daytime, but I still chose to use the nighttime image anyway.

Don't worry; we still saw all of the images, even if we didn't post them.

So, just glancing at the last pumpkins (since I was one of the last to enter) I noticed there was a pumpkin with my name under that I didn't enter. o_O;

Second to last pumpkin, I wasn't the one who carved it. Mistake perhaps?

Yea, I was going to ask SakechanBD about pumpkin #122. There are 130 entries, and everything is fine until you get to the last two rows. You have five pumpkins to a row, (in my browser window anyway) and each pumpkin has a number that pops up as you mouse over it. (I use IE7 browser) but the last two rows...

121, 123, 124, 125, 126
127, 128, 129, 130

So, what happened to #122, SakechanBD?

Okay, everything's been fixed, including the second to last name, and the inclusion of 122. Guh.

I'll post the winners later today.
