This is decidedly one of the most touching things I've ever seen, especially given its a statue. Its a monument to Tezuka's greatness as an author and a compassionate human being.

I was moved too, by it's pure message.

-Don't forget: Tezuka-san was a Doctor. He knows firsthand of the frailty of life...
His message emanates from this honorable image of Love.

Osamu Tezuka still speaks to us! Yes, through the wonderful worlds and characters he's created.

Listen.
Remember the man.
Spread his words, by our deeds.
The Earth NEEDS our love.
