| I have to agree, Azu-Meow Bothered me. Azu-Nyan worked so well because it almost rhymes with her name(Which I think was the idea), so it's almost painful to read(listen to in the case of the anime) Azu-Meow. |

So they use "Azu-meow" in the English dub of the anime as well?
I certainly can understand the use of it and it only bothered me for a bit. I'd be curious as to what it sounds like to a native reader. I mean, it's a pretty ridiculous nickname on the sheer principal of things regardless of where you're reading it from. I think the exotic nature of the onomatopoeia that is "nya" as opposed to "meow" in English also skews an English reader's perspective to some degree; though the previous commenter's point of a more rhythmic sound to the name in Japanese is a good point. |

Well, one DUMBASS decision by Yen Press hasn't kept me from collecting the manga. I really appreciate that they include plenty of pages in color. |

Yep, one legitimate translation choice that I don't agree with means I will not be supporting a series I enjoy in it's official release and will instead keep my scanlations. |

| I'm pretty sure they say Azu-nyan in the anime dub. |

In the English dub they use Azu-meow just like the manga which I do not see what the big deal is that they changed it. |

Azu-nyan just sounds better than Azu-meow. you can try to say both 10 times. |

They're both silly not-so-necessary nicknames for a student thought of by Yui of all people, who as far as highschool students go is not meant to be taken that seriously anyway. |

| No matter how you want to refer to Azusa, I do want to recommend the series to anyone who enjoyed the anime. Considering how much the manga industry has contracted, I think it's a little miracle that they keep publishing volume after volume. It's a fun read, and it's just what I reach for whenever I want to get a smile back on my face. |

| The first thing I noticed after picking up the first volume were the most excellent printing and paper quality. |

Yeah, Yen usually print really nice books. My Kobato volumes feel a little cheap, but Black Butler and some of their manhwa titles are really nice. |
