| awesome lineup of classics. Sunrise is well-represented. I wish they would bring back Yu Yu Hakusho. |

The change for Geass R2 forced on them by Bandai gave them a perfect excuse to dump their failing late night comedies on Saturdays. The anime can't do much worse than their comedy originals were doing in the late nights.
Also significant is them quitting their pattern of repeating the first three hours during their second three hours. The whole night is now all-different shows. Maybe they'll start doing this on weeknights too. (^_*) |

I rather like that they repeat shows later in the night, it gives a me a chance to catch up on episodes I may have missed earlier in the night.
Doesn't AS still have Blood+? I want to see some Blood+, I miss that show. |

Not entirely true. They don't show new series that often, true, but Code Geass R2 just finished up in Japan not that long ago. And Bleach is a current series, and not that far behind it's Japanese broadcast. |

| I am happy about the change. This will give me the chance to watch Moribto in its entirety. And from what I've been told (And been spoiled on.) Code Geass R2 is going to ROCK. |

cool, but let's see how long it lasts.
my guess is they don't see ratings getting better no matter what is in the time slot, so they decided putting that anime back would be slightly better. the problem with doing this, is these shows are already a good ways in. the only way this will work is if they restart them-which i don't see happening.

Moribito will be restarted from the beginning and Geass will reair the first episode of R2 they showed this past Saturday. |

I had been watching the ratings bumps since the last schedule change. It seemed to me like Bleach and FMA were getting good ratings at 11pm, so them moving those makes me wonder what's going on. If I remember correcting, Bleach almost doubled its ratings with the move to 11pm. Seeing the other stuff back on the schedule is fine with me, wouldn't hurt to move it up an hour earlier in my book, but its better than it was.
With the last schedule I was watching Bleach and FMA, then flipping around for something else 'til I felt like going to bed. DVR'ing Code Geass and Moribito, then watching them the next day. Like usual with anime on Adult Swim I'll take it with a grain of salt and won't be surprised if the lineup shifts again before the month is over. |

Wow a "better" schedule. I suppose.. it is.. a little better. But I stopped watching AS a few months ago and have felt so much better since then. Yeah I don't see bleach as early as I like, and I'm going to have to wait for season 4 on dvd to really be beyond where I was at, but AS truly sucks. I absolutely hated watching their terrible commercials about their horrendous "comedy" shows which were an excuse to gross me out every 5 minutes.
Good riddance to AS. I have no interest in you at all. |

BTW just to mention it, in case you did not know. Morbito came out on DVD yesterday, and has 9 episodes on 2 DVDs (sold together in a box with cool stuff, sold together in a 2 DVD set, or sold as individual DVDs.)
Sounds pretty cool!
Wonder where Death Note will start from, cause they did show a couple of episodes after the full run, then it got taken off.
BTW I wonder if this has to do with loads of people calling/writing/e-mailing CN to complain about the schedules.
Now if they start to maybe advertise that they are showing this stuff (like they used to) then maybe they would get some ratings. |
