| If only I still consistently had [AS]. Still, I find it rather nice how nearly all the weekend blocks are anime. Let's just hope that the ratings are there to justify to [AS] to at least keep it as such. |

I think that this whole change isn't going to last past the month, as for DVRing the shows, don't got one and VCR burnt out last year and I can't really be arsed to buy either so I'll just buy the DVDs so what if AS changes the schedual to temporarily appease the anime fans for a month before taking a )explicit( on the face of anime fans yet again, they really don't care about what fans really want to see so they'll change it again and maybe even before the month is over, so f$*k you AS I hope ya choke on the poor quality, low brow, cocain inspired pile of )explicit( you call "comedy" or even dare to call it "entertainment"

I don't think it's so great, when Bleach gets moved to a much later time slot. Adult Swim has a attitude problem! Bad Adult Swim! |

How many more times are they going to run Cowboy Bebop? Let the show die already!
I laughed when I saw what the "classic" anime was. Yeah, same old stuff they been showing for years now (sans Code Geass and Morbito). |

I think that the reason why they still continue to air older titles such as Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Inu Yasha and the like is because they actually bring in some ratings. Otherwise, I think they would've let the rights for those series lapse by now. But hey, who knows?
And think about it this way: at least you actually get an opportunity to see anime not targeted towards young children other than Bleach and Naruto.

| What happened with Bleach, Code Geass, and Moribito last weekend? I had it set to record, but it got all butchered by the time change. Were the episodes new? Did they even show them? (My guide didn't say anything about them) And my guide only has Bleach and FMA as the only anime listed to show. Stupid cablevision... So is the schedule accurate or will I play my DVR'd show only to find out I recorded 12 oz. mouse instead? (Dumbest show ever by the way) |

| Well, it would've been better if they started at an earlier time, but I'll be loading up the redbull nonetheless... |

Bleach at 1 Ante? ARE YOU [expletive] KIDDING ME?
Why does [AS] have to shoot themselves in the foot like this? Premieres belong earlier in the block, not later. Doesn't take a goddamn rocket scientist to figure that out. Obviously, someone at [AS] doesn't even know how to schedule anime, and that not-so-nice-person deserves to be fired, then shot, drawn, and quartered.
Put me in charge of scheduling, [AS], and there will be change we can believe in. |

It can pretty much be said that CN uses anime as filler when they can't put a show in the slot. At least it's not four hours of tim and eric, thank god.
and it will probably last one season.
but what will they replace flcl with, they are not just going to keep replaying it.
and for the record, I was being sarcastic with my first post, CN hates anime and everything about it. |

| I wouldn't say they hate anime so much as they figure they get more money from airing their own shows. |

Newsflash: Japanese (over-the-air) TV networks mostly air anime late at night, too. There's nowhere else to put them.
I'm not thrilled at the timeslots [as] puts anime; then again, if you have access to [as] video then you can watch anime there too; Code Geass has been running on there weekly as well, so you can watch it any time, anywhere with a broadband connection. |

Well, [as] isn't exactly clamoring to get the rights to air other classic anime shows, so they make do for what they have. I, for one, will never get tired of watching Cowboy Bebop, and as horrid as that timeslot is, it's at a time where people may be flipping through channels finding nothing, and then they land on something comfy to watch. That's why Bebop airs at 4am.
Regardless of how *you* feel about Cowboy Bebop, millions of fans have watched it before and will watch it again. I truly believe that it's earned that "Classic TV" status. Perhaps when the rights for it run out on [as], it'll jump to TV Land to air in the middle of the night. |

I, for one, will never watch Cowboy Bebop on [AS] ever again because I already have the DVDs. No sense in watching something on TV that you already own on DVD.
Still, the anime's being aired way too late. Why the hell can't [AS] shove comedy in the graveyard slot? Comedy fans can wait till later to catch their precious shows! (Then again, they MUST be forced to put anime on earlier at gunpoint.) |
