Explain AI: Artificial Intelligence then. All Spielberg had to do was end the movie at David and Teddy being trapped under Coney Island looking at the Blue Fairy while being frozen. Instead, we're treated to a mushy extra 15 minutes of Future mechas exploring a ice-covered earth, extracting David from the ice, and then cloning his mother, oh, but she lives for only one day!! Wait, wut? type of deal.
ERGH!!!! Either end the damn movie on one sad note, or give us a happy ending, not do a double whammy!!! |
