I just did this myself. The last day of cable is November 30 for me. Then I'm going to sign up for Netflix. I'll miss following things from week to week and also participating in the discussion threads in the anime forum for the various cable-aired series, but I hardly watch anything on cable anymore and the money saved will easily pay for Netflix and a few DVDs too from time to time.
