| Wow. Now that sounded like a cool con. The human chess match and the jokebox sound like awesome ideas. I can only hope that other cons (particularly Anime Boston) try this. |

It was awesome. I was one of the lucky ones that saw the chess match. Almost didn't too... I was a security volunteer posted outside letting people in, then we had to start turning people away. I was pretty disappointed, then my girlfriend (Who was Kei from Dirty Pair in the chess match) popped her head out and dragged me inside.
All in all, it's gotta my favorite con I've gone to. Small cons that are well put together always strike me as more fun than the larger ones. Plus, Roy and Amy Harms, who put it together, are insanely nice people, as are all the other staffers. Maboroshi from Risingsun.net is also a pretty funny guy. |
