Thanks to Bandai they replaced my Code Geass discs 1 and 2 (both the defective 1st printings) without any question (even though I bought them over 3 years ago) glad to have a working set now. also picked up Code Geass R2 for $29.99 over at Best Buy (last one on the shelf pretty much) so now I can cancel my massively backordered Barnes and Noble and Amazon orders

Crap. I better start working fast on getting any Bandai titles I'm missing. Unfortunately, DirecTV stuck us with an extra $300 in installation fees (I got a new TV — I had been using my roommate's TV in the living room — and we needed a new box), plus my taxes are due on my car. So, I won't be able to even start working on buying any anime (which I haven't for months because I was saving up for the TV) until the beginning of May.

Wonder if Funimation has any plans to pick up any of the Bandai titles and put them to their Classic line? I think they did it with Love Hina, but we need more than that.

Well damn, that's an annoyance for me. I had no idea that this was coming. I guess that I'll have to hope for a rescue or for a copy to show up on the cheap. |

At this point in time, it's safer to get all of the Bandai Ent. titles you want. There is no 100% certainty on how long releases will truly be in-stock. Turnaround time for replenishment and fulfillment for retailers may take weeks to month(s). And most importantly, there is no way to when a certain title gets discontinued/OOP. Sometimes it just pop up without advance notice (visible to most anyways).

RACS has it for $34.98. Not a very good price, but not as outrageous as you would expect from them. People are already asking for a thousand dollars on amazon

RACS Amazon storefront is now showing Leapt Through Time for $90. What's crazy though is that's the cheapest price there.

I can understand where there would be concern with prices for Scryed and Clamp School Detectives. But Girl Who Leapt Through Time is still available on DVD at a reasonable price. So why raise a fuss?

Had I been at home when I found out that RACS still had it for a decent price I would have bought the bluray. By the time I get home today it will probably jump up to prices expected for RACS OOP. At least I have the dvd for Leapt Through Time. The bluray would have been nice though.
