Am I the only one who thinks that for such a recent anime, there should be a bit more detail in the animation? I mean like the real-life parts of Summer Wars would be a decent standard.

Yes, you're probably the only one clamoring for more detail based on a 35 second clip.

The level of "detail" depends on the sort of style trying to be presented. Shin-Chan will never have the level of detail found in Ghost in the Shell, no matter what year Shin-Chan gets made in.

Different films have different art styles. Personally, I think the detail in Arrietty is fantastic. The design is one of the many great parts of the movie, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

The dub clip sounds fine as well; I never really doubted Disney to do another solid job from the start, but I think it helps that I'm watching the dub on its own terms instead of as a comparison.
