I didn't really like what had read of the original Lagoon Engine (Although I'll still buy it on account of scanlations give me a guilty conscience if I don't replace them with the real thing when it gets licensed) so I don't think I'll be checking it out durings it's run in Newtype.
Though, usually, I absolutely adore Sugisaki-sensei's artwork, I found LE to be rather strange looking, making it even harder to get into. The art just looked kind of messy. I dunno, maybe it gets better after the first volume, but what I read was mediocre at best....
I went off on a bit of a tangent there (sorry! ) but, back on topic, it's pretty cool that it's coming out here first. Maybe I'll skim through it in a book store and see if it looks improved enough to warrant a purchase. Who knows, it might surprise me |

I was wondering about all those wierd "coming soon!" pages. I tried reading them, but all I got out of it was "Yukiru Sugisaki new manga newtype USA"
I wonder what it'll be about. |
