That's just too tempting, excuse the following line ::gasp::
I guess they'll be fine, they don't live IN SOVIET RUSSIA afterall.
::sighs:: And that coming from a guy who's favourite Nina-Comic was the anti-meme-strip.
Fabulous comic as usual, I especially loved how the cookies reflected such a large span of genre and generations and it was neat to spot them all - gives a cuddly feeling seeing all the familar mascots and symbols you've loved in the last years - it's like a family gathering, in a subtle way, so there's a lot christmas spirit going on the closer you look ^^

Also, for no one who go my "will it eat them" joke...that'd be spoilerific. All I can say is...yeah, later episode.

Well if there isn't a cookie cutter mold for what ya need you just gotta make one yourself. Guess as a baker I should asking my friend's dad (he's a welder) for some tips hehe. Wing-0 cookie mold coming soon heh. Nothing says Happy Holidays though like fresh baked cookies. Speaking of which time to make some myself.

hmm lets see.. from the middle bottom to the center
the homunculus symbol (ouroboros, quoted ) from full metal alchemist
totoro from my neighbor totoro
one of the microbes (Aspergillus oryzae, quoted) from moyashimon
the dust creature from totoro or spirited away (quoted) (i think)
mokona from magic knight rayearth originally then tsubasa chronicles (quoted)
i can't identify the robot, it has no distinguishing feature for me (but i quote from earlier posts that its gurren lagann from gurren lagann )
then keroberos (wrong spelling ) from cardcaptor sakura

You've really done a fine job with the comic this week Robin, thank you for all your hard work and energy spent into this comic this year. You have really worked hard this year, especially with the Valtintine comic.
I look forward to reading Anime News Nina in 2009, hopefully years after that as well. Thank you again, merry holiday's.

Now that's some cookies. Now will anyone try for real and post it?
Oh man that was funny. The little black blob looks like the black critters from 'Totoro'. It's the only thing I could think of.

Nothing wrong with expressing your love for mecha in cookie form...
And Merry Christmas (Hannukah, Kwanzaa) to everybody!

There's no need to weld. All that's needed are some empty pop cans, tin cutters or sheers, some pliers to bend the metal and crimp it together, and some thick gloves to protect your hands. And don't forget to round off one side so you don't cut yourself when you go to use them.
It's also possible to reshape some metal cutters, and in some cases it's possible to get away with existing shapes, especially circles. A standard gingerbread man could work for a wide range of mechas.
Of course the real work is in the icing, but I suppose cardboard cutouts could serve as guides.
