The Precure series pretty much reached Super Sentai and Kamen Rider tier of long-lasting. It's not going away unless merchandise goes incredibly sour. Though I heard Sunrise's other idol show Aikatsu could become a worthy rival in the long run.
So would HappinessCharge be considered Precure's 10th Anniversary title since the whole thing started back in 2004? I hope Toei bring in the big guns like bring over a well-known character designer or infamous animator into the staff.

Well, that'll be disappointing if so. I was never huge on Heartcatch and the sequels in general are always the weakest Precure series.

Funny, speaking of character designs, just last night I was checking out the Precure doujins by Shouji Satou (Highschool of the Dead, Triage X). and I was thinking, they should bring him onboard for a new Precure generation

Oh god no. I don't even watch Precure (I don't waste my time on shows meant for actual kids regardless of how good they are) but keep that man's awful designs away from everything. His art is awful and people only like it because it's two steps from porn.
He clearly spends 90% of his work on the tits and just doesn't give a shit about anything else. ANYTHING else.
