posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Site also adds Unico films

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it has added the Mini! Kiznaiver Theater manga. The manga is available to Crunchyroll members worldwide.

Crunchyroll describes the manga:

An official gag comic for the TV anime, "KIZNAIVER" appears! In this gag comic, all of the "KIZNAIVER" characters have turned Mini, and live out unbelievable days in Sugomori City. You get to enjoy a slightly different story from the original.

Studio Trigger's Kiznaiver television anime series premiered on April 9, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan. Crunchyroll is also releasing chapters of the Kiznaiver manga as they are released in Japan.

In addition, Crunchyroll added the live-action drama adaptation of Hiroshi Mori's The Perfect Insider (Subete ga F ni Naru) novel and the first season of the live-action Wakakozake drama on Wednesday.

The Perfect Insider is available to Crunchyroll users in the United States, Canada, Central and South America including the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Wakakozake is available worldwide excluding China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea.

Crunchyroll previously streamed the anime adaptation of The Perfect Insider as it aired in Japan. The site also streamed the second season of the Wakakozake live-action drama as it aired in Japan, and it also streamed the Wakakozake anime.

Crunchyroll also added both The Fantastic Adventures of Unico and Unico in the Island of Magic anime films to its catalog on Tuesday. Both films are available to Crunchyroll members in the United States and Canada.

Both films adapted Osamu Tezuka's Unico manga about the title unicorn. Toshio Hirata directed The Fantastic Adventures of Unico (1981), while Moribi Murano directed Unico in the Island of Magic (1983).

Both films appeared with an English dub on home video and on cable television in the United States in the 1980s, but the video tape versions are long out of print. New Galaxy Anime licensed the two features as its first two titles in 2007, but the company never released an actual product. Discotek Media then licensed both films and released both films on DVD in 2012, and again on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in 2014. Discotek's release featured the English dub as well as the original Japanese audio with English subtitles.
