New Sailor Moon Musical Cast Will Appear at Usagi & Chibi-Usa Birthday Celebration

The new cast appearing in the fourth 20th-anniversary stage musical of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga will attend this year's Usagi & Chibi-Usa birthday celebration.The five actresses will be joined by Sailor Moon voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi.
Tickets to the event will be distributed by lottery to members of the Sailor Moon fan club. Members can enter the lottery via an application on the membership site until June 10. The event will be held in Tokyo on June 30 and broadcast live on Niconico.
The new cast members are:
- Hotaru Nomoto as Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon
- Hikari Kuroki as Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury
- Karen Kobayashi as Rei Hino/Sailor Mars
- Kaede as Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter
- Rimo Hasegawa as Minako Aino/Sailor Venus
The musical will debut with an initial run at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo venue from October 15 to 23, before moving to Canal City Theater in Fukuoka from October 29 to 30, and then Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka from November 4 to 6.
The former cast graduated after the third musical finished its run. They shared tearful goodbyes at last year's birthday event.
