Ensemble Stars! Developer Happy Elements to Announce New Anime Project on July 8

Smartphone game company Happy Elements will announce a new anime project during a livestreamed announcement event on Nico Nico Livestream on July 8. The livestream will reveal the anime's title, cast, and characters.
Happy Elements is the developer of the Ensemble Girls!! smartphone game, as well as the Ensemble Stars! spinoff game. Released in 2012, Ensemble Girls!! casts the player as the sole male student in a former all-girls school, developing relationships with over 70 characters. Ensemble Stars!, which launched in April 2015, reverses the premise, with the player taking the role of the sole female student in a school focused on the entertainment business.
Novelist Akira (Sasami-san@Ganbaranai, Kyōran Kazoku Nikki) wrote the original scenario for both games.
A stage play adaptation of Ensemble Stars! ran in Japan from June 18-26, and a television anime adaptation has been green-lit.
The official Ensemble Girls!! website previously streamed an anime promotional video for the game earlier this month.
Happy Elements has also developed the Last Period: Owari naki Rasen no Monogatari- (Last Period: The Story of an Endless Spiral), Merc Storia, HappyFish, Anipop, Lang Ya Bang, and Kamuy Apocalypse smartphone games.
