Unplugged gets Hooked! To help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Movie “Hook”
Unplugged Expo has decided to bring Bangarang to Toronto.
Dante Basco, who played the enigmatic "Rufio" opposite the late Robin Williams will
bring his lost boy charm to the Hook celebrations at Unplugged Expo. Along with his
numerous rolls in movies Dante appears regularly on television, most recently portraying
the emotionally unstable "Prince Zuko" from the Nickelodean animated Series "Avatar
The Last Airbender". The character was such a hit with fans that Dante was asked to
return in the following series "The Legend of Kora" this time as the character "General

TVOntario host and actor Joseph Motiki joins Unplugged Expo to host "Masters of
Cosplay" the newest competition at the event. Joseph is best know in Canada for his
time on TVO's “Crawlspace” alongside co-hosts Patty Sullivan and Kevin Brauch. But
Anime fans will always remember Joseph's signature voice as he played the part of
"Metabee" from the popular animated series "Medabots". Joseph continues to do voice
work for many popular children's animated series including "Rescue Heroes", "Magi-
Nation", "Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race", and the adult animation

International Costuming ambassador Marie-Claude Bourbonnias will be one of the Judges for "Masters of Cosplay" at Unplugged Expo. Hailing from Quebec, Marie-Claude is a professional costume, prop designer, and glamour model. Since 2009 she has consistently been recognized as one of the most recognizable cosplay creators in the world, currently ranking in the top 10 alongside Jessica Nigri, and Alodia Gosiengfiao. Widely respected in costuming community all over the world, Marie-Claude will be a tough critic for those competing to become this years "Master of Cosplay".
