Six Flags Theme Parks Promote Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions Film

4K Media announced on Wednesday that it is promoting its upcoming opening of the Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions anime film in North America with a campaign at the Six Flags theme parks. The campaign began on November 19 and will end on January 1.
For the duration of the campaign, the Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey), Six Flags America (Washington, D.C.), Six Flags Over Georgia (Georgia), Six Flags St. Louis (Missouri), Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas (Texas), Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (California) will show a preview of the film via the in-park television network Six Flags TV. On December 10-11, and December 17-18, the park will have volunteers to demonstrate the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game.
The official channel of the card game previously streamed a trailer for the film last month.
The film will open in the United States and Canada on January 27, after being moved from its originally planned January 20 release.
Manga Entertainment and 4K Media will open the film in the United Kingdom and Ireland on February 1, 2017.
Voice actors Dan Green and Eric Stuart are reprising their roles as Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba, respectively, for the North American English dub of the film. Daniel J. Edwards will voice the film's new character Aigami.
The Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions film opened in Japan on April 23 on 137 screens, ranking #6 and selling 92,396 tickets, earning 133,010,600 yen (about US$1.2 million) in its first weekend. The film eventually earned over 1 billion yen (about US$9 million). The film also received 4DX and MX4D screenings in Japan beginning on September 24.
