KLab Releases Major Update for Global Version of 'Love Live! School Idol Festival'

Holds “One Dreamy Night” Event to Celebrate

Tokyo, Japan – February 15, 2017 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced today that a major update for the global version of Love Live! School Idol Festival, its hit game co-developed with Bushiroad Inc., was released on February 14.

The latest update introduces a new feature that allows players to control the amount of LP used per song, as well as multiple much-anticipated UI improvements for the game. One Dreamy Night, a special event designed to help players take full advantage of these new in-game improvements, starts today to celebrate.

One Dreamy Night Event
Event Period: Wednesday, February 15 to Friday, February 24 (UTC)

In this event, players are challenged to collect as many Event Points as possible in order to win special prizes, which include an SR Yoshiko and SR Ruby from Aqours. Players are first tasked with collecting Event Tokens, which can be collected from any song in the game during the event period. Players must then spend the Event Tokens they have dutifully collected to play the Event Song. Players earn points that count for the event by completing the Event Song.

Player rankings are based on the total amount of Event Points collected. Players can earn Achievement Rewards by earning a certain amount of Event Points. This event also marks the first time Score Ranking has appeared in an event in the global version of the game. High-scoring players will receive rewards according to Score Ranking after the event ends.

* Event Ranking and Score Ranking Rewards will be sent to the player's Present Box after the event has ended.

Commemorative Login Bonus
Event Period: Wednesday, February 15 to Tuesday, February 21 (UTC)

For seven days starting Wednesday, February 15, all players will receive one Love Gem per day as a special login bonus. Players can earn up to seven Love Gems with this special opportunity.

New and Improved Features
The latest update brings with it a lengthy list of new and improved features, many of which global players have been looking forward to for some time now. The list of improvements included in the latest version of the game is as follows.

Control LP Amounts for Live Shows
Now players can choose to spend up to four times the default amount of LP when performing Live Shows. By choosing to spend more LP, players are able to receive more rewards. The maximum amount of LP players can spend is limited to their current maximum LP. However, changing the LP amount does not affect the number of times the Live Show is cleared.

The latest update also allows players to adjust the amount of Tokens spent on Token collection events. However, players will not be able to change the amount of LP spent in Score Match, Medley Festival, or Challenge Festival events.

This is excellent timing, as global players will, for the first time ever, now be able to collect more Tokens for the One Dreamy Night Token Event by increasing the amount of LP used for Live Shows during the event period.

Affected Rewards:
EXP
Gs
Event Tokens
Event Points
Reward Box Points
R Member appearance rates
*Does not increase the number of R members attainable.

Unaffected Rewards:
Bond Points
Fav Points
Goal progress
Friend Points

Practice Partner Auto-Selection Improved
The update released yesterday introduces the "Select members of the same Attribute" filter to the game. To select Members of different Attributes as Practice Partners, players need only to uncheck this option.

The "Include members with locked Side Stories" filter has also been added. Players can avoid accidentally using members who still have locked Side Stories as Practice partners by NOT checking this option. As an additional update, the Auto feature will no longer select members who are at the maximum Level.

New-and-Improved School Idol Skills
This new UI addition allows players to tap the Details button to bring up a list of members who have that Skill equipped. Tapping on a member icon in the list brings up the Club Member Details for that member, where their School Idol Skills can then be edited directly.

Skip Live Show Results
Some parts of Live Show results can now be skipped by simply tapping the screen.

New Sorting Options for Club Members List
The "SIS No." has been introduced as a new Club Members list sorting option. This handy option sorts members by the number of School Idol Skills equipped per member.

Revamped Auto Team Formations
As of the latest update, Member Attribute points are now prioritized over what Attribute group that member belongs to. When "Timing" is selected under Skill as the Team formation preference, members with skills that "ease" the timing window will be prioritized over members with skills that "slightly ease" the timing window.

The Leader slot now gives priority to higher rarity members. This means that a UR member takes priority over an SSR member, even if the stats of the SSR member are better.

Attainable Stickers Added to Practice Screen
Selecting Practice Partners now shows which kind of and how many Stickers will be gained from the Practice.

More Options for Honor Student Scouting
Players can now choose whether to use Love Gems or Scouting Tickets for Honor Student Scouting.

Revamped Player Profiles
Now players can sort their Favorite Members ranking under their Profile (Cleared/Fav Pts.) by Member or by Costume.

Other Improvements
The update also introduced various UI improvements, updated the What's New UI elements, and fixed other minor issues.

The new update is available as of Tuesday, February 14. Players are encouraged to update to the latest version of the game in order to take advantage of these marked improvements to Love Live! School Idol Festival.
