Kemono Friends Has New On-Screen Project in the Works

The staff of the Kemono Friends anime announced on Wednesday that a "new screen project" has been green-lit for the franchise. The staff also shared the visual and logo below to correspond with the announcement.
The Kemono Friends television anime premiered on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka on January 10 and ended on Saturday. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
The original app game ended service on December 14. Nexon announced in February that the app will not return despite the anime's popularity.
Concept designer Mine Yoshizaki revealed in February that there are plans to continue the Kemono Friends project after the currently airing anime season. The anime will get "original content" on TV Tokyo's new AniTele app, which will launch on April 1.
