Seven Mortal Sins Anime Reveals More Cast, Anime Shorts Spinoff Series

The official website for Hobby Japan's Seven Mortal Sins television anime series revealed a new character and cast member for the series on Saturday. Yumi Uchiyama will play angel Michael, one of the "Seven Virtues."

The website also revealed that the staff is producing a series of spinoff anime shorts titled "Zange-roku" (Records of Confessions). The site is streaming the first episode. In the episode, Leviathan suggests that Lucifer should think of good poses, and Lucifer says she's already decided on some. As Lucifer shows off her ideas, Leviathan suggests she should strike sexier poses. As Lucifer does so, it turns out that Leviathan just wanted Lucifer to make sexy poses so she could take pictures of her. Lucifer catches on to Leviathan's plan and punches her.

The anime shorts will be available after each episode, and will also be included on the show's Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases. The first Blu-ray Disc and DVD volume will include the first two episodes of the main anime, as well as the first two episode of the "Zange-roku" shorts. Additionally, the first volume will include the unaired episode 13 of the "Zange-roku" shorts.

The anime will have a total of seven Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes. Each of the volumes will include two main episodes from the series, except for volumes four and seven, which will contain one episode from the series. The volumes will each contain those episodes' accompanying "Zange-roku" short, as well as one unaired "Zange-roku" short. The shorts will as such have a total of 12 aired episodes, and seven unaired episodes.

The anime series premiered in Japan on Friday, and Crunchyroll began streaming the series worldwide outside of Asia on Friday.
