The Bears' School, Tinny Anime Films' Promo Video Streamed

TOHO animation began streaming a promotional video for the anime films of the Kuma no Gakkō (The Bears' School) and Tinny - Fūsen Inu Monogatari (Tinny - Balloon Dog Story) picture books on Thursday. The films, titled Eiga Kuma no Gakkō: Patissier Jackie to Ohisama no Sweets (The Bears' School The Movie: The Patissier Jackie and the Sun's Sweets) and Fūsen Inu Tinny: Nandaka Fushigi na Kyōryū no Kuni (Tinny Ballon Dog: The Somewhat Mysterious Country of Dinosaurs), will open simultaneously on August 25.
As an artist-writer team, Nami Adachi and Hiroyuki Aihara launched the Kuma no Gakkō book series with Kuma no Gakkō First in August 2002 under the publisher and Bronze Publishing Inc. (Bronze Shinsha). Adachi and Aihara have written 14 books in the main series and six related books. The books inspired The Bears' School anime film in 2010, as well as the Ganbare! Lulu Lolo - Tiny Twin Bears television anime series, which ran for three seasons in 2013, 2014, and 2016 respectively. The studio Fanworks animated the film and the three television anime.
Kuma no Gakkō celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. The book series has more than 2.1 million copies in print, and has been published in China, Taiwan, South Korea, and France.
Genki Kawamura and Kenjirō Sano write and draw the Tinny - Fūsen Inu Monogatari book series, which began in 2014, and now has six books in the series. The book series has previously been adapted into a two-season television anime series titled Fūsen Inu Tinny (Balloon Dog Tinny). The first season premiered on NHK in September 2014 with 26 episodes. The second season aired on NHK from September 2015 to March 2016.
The books also received a manga adaptation titled Fūsen Kyōryū-hen (Balloon Dinosaur) in Magazine House's CasaBRUTUS magazine that started in January 2016. The new movie will portray a story also featuring the world of Balloon Dinosaurs, where Tinny finds a balloon dinosaur egg on the surface and sets out to return it.
Former Pixar art directors Daisuke "Dice" Tatsumi and Robert Kondo ("The Dam Keeper") also adapted Kawamura's Moom picture book into a 13-minute short. Marza Animation Planet and Hakuhodo's in-house animation studio Craftar collaborated to produce the project, and it debuted last March at the Cinequest Film Festival in California.
Kawamura is also an anime film producer, credited as producer on such films as Saint Young Men, The Boy and The Beast, and your name.
