Kemco's Werewolf Game Rei-Jin-G-Lu-P Gets Physical PS4 Release in Japan

Pre-orders for visual novel's 1st physical release begin on October 25

This week's issue of Kadokawa's Famitsu magazine is revealing on Thursday that Kemco's werewolf horror smartphone game Rei-Jin-G-Lu-P will get a physical release for PlayStation 4 in Japan. The visual novel is currently available digitally only. The physical PS4 version's pre-order period will begin on October 25.

The game launched on iOS and Android in Japan in 2015, and a digital PlayStation Vita port launched on January 11. The game is also currently available digitally for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Kemco streamed the opening for the PS Vita port in December.

D-LU-PS performs the song "Kiri no Negai." Dwango arranged the music, and NOxNO2 of Studio Carnaval composed the opening and the game's music. Kageyō (Kagerō) illustrated the characters, and amphibian handled the game scenario and the opening song's lyrics.

Rei-Jin-G-Lu-P is a horror game based on the "Werewolf" (or "Mafia") game concept in which a werewolf hides among a group of people who must discover his or her identity. The game's main character Haruaki Fusaishi gets lost and arrives in Yasumizu Village. Every time he dies, he wakes up again at the same point in time. Players solve the mysteries behind strange events and tragedies regarding the "Underworld Banquet" murder ritual and a hidden werewolf. The game has multiple endings.
