Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match Ships in Southeast Asia in English on February 27

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia began streaming an English-subtitled promotional video for the Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match PlayStation 4 game on Monday. The video reveals that its Southeast Asian English release of the game is slated for February 27. Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia will release the game with English text and Japanese voice over. The video is an English-subtitled version of the game's first promotional video.

The game will ship on February 22 in Japan. Those who order the Premium Edition of the game in Japan will receive a Blu-Ray Disc with video content (including the "Tank Trial!" picture drama and an "Anglerfish Team Roundtable Discussion" talk show video), a specially designed box, a "Dream Tank Book" special booklet, and a clear visual poster set. The Premium Edition retails for 11,100 yen (about US$98), and the standard edition and the download version both retail for 7,600 yen (about US$69). Those who purchase early editions of the game will receive a download code for a "rival commanding officer set Ooarai Girls High School uniform version."

The franchise is getting a six-part finale anime project titled Girls und Panzer das Finale. The first of the upcoming finale anime's six episodes will open in 59 Japanese theaters on December 9. Sayaka Sasaki will perform the opening theme song "Grand symphony" for the first three episodes. Sasaki previously performed the "Anglerfish Dance" song that is part of the original television anime's story. ChouCho, who performed the opening theme song for the television anime and the 2015 film, will return as the opening theme song artist for the project's last three episodes.

The project will also have immersive 4DX and MX4D screenings, after the second episode in the Finale anime project ends its initial run of regular screenings. Each of the immersive screenings will combine two episodes; the first ones will combine the first and second episodes. The next set of immersive screenings will combine the third and fourth episodes, and the last set will combine the fifth and sixth episodes.
