2000-2007 series also inspired Taiwanese drama

A live-action series based on Nagamu Nanaji's Parfait Tic! manga will premiere on Fuji TV's FOD streaming service on March 31. The series will have 10 episodes.

Masaki Nakao (pictured left in the image above) and Hikaru Takahashi (pictured right) are starring in the series.

The manga ran in Shueisha's Margaret magazine from 2000 to 2007, and has 5 million copies in print. The series has already inspired a Taiwanese drama series.

The story follows a happy and cheerful girl named Fuuko. One day two cousins Daiya and Ichi move into the apartment upstairs and a love triangle begins.
