To Be Hero Anime Sequel Reveals Title, Staff, May 19 Premiere (Updated)

To Be Heroine will have 7 24-minute episodes

Anime studio Emon Animation Company revealed at AnimeJapan on Thursday that the To Be Hero sequel series, titled To Be Heroine, will premiere in Japan on May 19 on Tokyo MX 1 at 9:00 p.m. The series will air for seven episodes, with each episode being 24 minutes in length.

Li Haolin is credited with the original creation, scenario, screenplay, and as director. LAN is in charge of character design and is the animation director. Huang Xueting is the art director, Shintaro Nakamura is the director of photography, Li Haolin and Aya Hida are editors, Wu Ting is the sound director, and Emon and LAN are animating the series.

Emon's original 12-episode To Be Hero series (visual pictured at right) ran in Japan from October to December 2016. The anime starred Kenjiro Tsuda, Moa Tsukino, and Takeshi Maeda. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Each episode in the series was 11 minutes long.

Update: Correct title of series is To Be Heroine.
