Avengers: Infinity War Meets Final Fantasy in Movie Promo

Disney Japan tapped a familiar game franchise to promote the Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest feature, Avengers: Infinity War. The trailer, which has since been taken down from the company's official YouTube channel, shows 16-bit Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Star Lord face the villain Thanos after he gathers the Infinity Stones.
The team is quickly defeated. Black Widow, Hulk, and Captain America then take up the fight with similar results. The video ends with "To Be Continued."

Whether the video was taken down because of similarities to early Final Fantasy games or potential spoilers for the new film's plot is hard to say.
Avengers: Infinity War previously collaborated with My Hero Academia in a series of videos.
