Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! Anime's Promo Video Previews Opening Song

Cast performs theme song for anime premiering on October 5

The official website for the television anime of Kanko Nakamura's Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! (Our Maid is Way Too Annoying!) manga began streaming a second promotional video for the anime on Wednesday. The video previews the opening song "Uzauza ☆ Waosu!" Haruka Shiraishi and Manami Numakura performed the song as their respective characters.

The anime will air on AT-X on October 5 at 11:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on Tokyo MX and KBS Kyoto. The series will also air on BS11, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu.

The anime stars:

  • Haruka Shiraishi as Misha (left in image below)
  • Manami Numakura as Tsubame (right in image below)
  • M.A.O as Midori Ukai, Tsubame's former superior officer
  • Sayaka Harada as Mimika Washizaki, Misha's classmate
  • Shiori Izawa as Yui Morikawa, a female elementary school student who dresses like a gal
  • Masayuki Katō as Yasuhiro Takanashi, Misha's father

The manga centers on Misha, a little girl who lost her mother at an early age, and now lives with her father. Her father employs a maid named Tsubame, who was a former Self-Defense Force official, and is also a lolicon.

Masahiko Ohta and Takashi Aoshima — the director and series head writer, respectively, of Himouto! Umaruchan, Gabriel DropOut, and Mitsudomoe — are reuniting in the same roles for the new anime at Doga Kobo (Himouto! Umaruchan, Himōto! Umaru-chan R, Gabriel DropOut). Jun Yamazaki (Three Leaves, Three Colors) is designing the characters. Haruka Shiraishi and Manami Numakura are performing both the opening and ending theme songs as their respective characters.

Nakamura launched the manga in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine in August 2016. Futabasha published the manga's third compiled book volume on April 12.
