Arpeggio of Blue Steel's Sea Glass 'Tribute Manga' Ends in November

Comedy manga centering on Takao in Hakodate launched last November

The December issue of Shonengahosha's Monthly Youngking Ours GH magazine revealed on Tuesday that Sakura Ikeda's Sea Glass "tribute manga" to Ark Performance's Arpeggio of Blue Steel manga will end in the magazine's next issue on November 16.

The comedy manga centers on heavy cruiser Takao. After losing her first battle with I-401, Takao secretly infiltrates Hakodate to observe the lives of various humans.

Ikeda launched the manga in Monthly Youngking Ours GH last November. Shonengahosha published the manga's first compiled book volume on July 30.

Ark Performance launched the original Arpeggio of Blue Steel manga in Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine in 2009. Shonengahosha released the manga's 16th compiled book volume on July 30. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and shipped the 13th volume on August 21.

Ikeda drew both the manga adaptation of Tsukasa Fushimi's Oreimo (My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute) light novel series, and the Oreimo: Kuroneko spinoff manga. The former ran in Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Magazine from 2009 and 2011, and had four volumes. The latter launched in Dengeki G's Magazine in 2011, but moved to Dengeki G's Comic in April 2014, where it concluded in 2015 with six volumes. Dark Horse published all volumes for both series in English.
