posted on by Jennifer Sherman
PS4, PS Vita game launches on February 14

Atlus began streaming a new introduction video for its Catherine: Full Body game on Friday. The video previews the "Ideal Voice" DLC set with various voice actresses playing Catherine.

The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game will ship in Japan on February 14, 2019. The game will also get a release in the Americas and Europe in 2019.

The Japanese limited edition will include a soundtrack set, art book, and "Nero glasses" both as a physical item and DLC. The DLC Nero glasses will allow the player character Vincent to see female characters in sleepwear. In addition, the limited edition will offer a "Risō no Koe" (Ideal Voice) DLC set that can change Catherine's voice between 11 different voice actresses.

Those who purchase first printings of the game will receive a Persona 5-themed bonus for DLC for Joker as a playable character and a "phantom thieves commentary set." Joker will be playable in the Babel and Colosseum modes, and the commentary set will have the other phantom thieves provide commentary while he is in play.

Atlus' Studio Zero division is developing the mature romantic action-adventure puzzle game. The game will have a "third Catherine" character named Qatherine (Rin for short), who is a new love interest for Vincent with distinct storyline elements and additional puzzle content. The game will also have new storyline elements for Catherine and Katherine.

Atlus released its mature action-adventure puzzle game Catherine for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Atlus USA released game in North America in 2011, and it also shipped in Europe and Australia in 2012. The game was a collaboration between Atlus and the Genius Party animators at Studio 4°C. The game shared notable staff with Atlus' Persona series, including director and producer Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. Studio 4°C produced the animated sequences.
