SuBLime Imprint Adds Love Stage, Ginger Honey, Special Delivery, More Titles

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

North American boys-love manga publisher SuBLime announced at Yaoi-Con on Saturday that it will publish Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou's Love Stage!!, Isaku Natsume's Ginger Honey, Momiji Akutagawa's Special Delivery! (Otodoke ni Agarimasu!), and Tomoko Yamashita's The Night Beyond the Tricorner Window (Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru) manga.

Love Stage!!'s story revolves around Izumi Sena, a boy born into a family of ultra-famous entertainers. However, he is the only member of the family who is not in the entertainment industry, and he is a super otaku college student, too. He has been striving hard to become a manga creator, but he ends up starring in a television commercial. He eventually cross paths again with the very famous actor Ryūma, who becomes aware of his attraction towards Izumi.

SuBLime will release the first volume in print and digital in May 2015. The series was adapted into a 10-episode anime series that premiered in July and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for home video release in North America.

Ginger Honey is the sequel to Natsume's one-volume Devil's Honey manga. SuBLime describes Devil's Honey's story:

Popular phys-ed teacher Toshimitsu Sugaya has been given the assignment of keeping an eye on a gang of thugs in the school, particularly their leader Tatsumi Yoshino, the "Devil of Nami High." However, he soon finds out that not only is Yoshino a decent guy, but he's been idolizing Sugaya for over a year! It doesn't take long for Yoshino to win over the reluctant teacher, and the two start a secret love affair. Can a teacher/student relationship really work—and how long can these two hide their secret?

SuBLime will release the sequel volume digitally in February 2015.

Special Delivery! is the first work by Akutagawa to be published in North America. In the story, a home delivery truck driver visits a luxurious mansion. In the reception room, the beauty that greets him is the son of a prestigious family that he drunkenly gave his virginity to at a bar.

SuBLime will release the volume digitally in April 2015.

The Night Beyond the Tricorner Window (Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru) by Tomoko Yamashita (Dining Bar Akira, Black-Winged Love, Don't Cry, Girl♥) is a supernatural manga following the story of a book store owner, who from long ago watch strange things through a triangle window, and an exorcist who are forced to be together.

SuBLime will release the first volume digitally in March 2015.

The company also announced it will release the second volume of Rieko Yoshihara's Into Illusion novel/manga project on October 28. The series will be released simultaneously with the Be-Boy Gold magazine in Japan.

For current series, the third volume of Hide and Seek by Yaya Sakuragi is slated for March 2015, the third volume of Starting with a Kiss by Youka Nitta is slated for June 2015, and the third 2-in-1 volume of Embracing Love by Youka Nitta is slated for August 2015.

Update: SuBLime is its own publishing entity that was created by Viz Media and Japan's Animate, Ltd, and not a imprint of Viz Media per se.
