Konami: Kojima Productions' Name Was Changed in Restructuring

Konami addressed the recent removal of the Kojima Productions logo from its website over Twitter on Wednesday, stating that the Kojima Productions and other internal companies have had their names changed as part of Konami's restructuring. Director Hideo Kojima and his team are still working on Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain at Konami.
In addition, although the Twitter accounts changed names, the Japanese account stated that they are still run by the same Metal Gear marketing staff.
Konami has not yet addressed the rumors that Kojima is leaving the company after completing Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain, but a representative told Japanese game news site Gamespark that Kojima and his team are still employees working on the game. The representative was unable to confirm whether Kojima is a full-time or contract employee.
Konami issued a notice earlier this week that the company is hiring new staff members to work on the next Metal Gear title.
On the reports that Konami is restricting internet and phone usage for Kojima Productions staff members, the representative stated that other things were revised in the restructuring so that staff members could give their "undivided attention to development."
Last week's report came after Kojima Production's social media accounts were "moved" to @MetalGear_EN and @MetalGear_JP, its website redirects to the Metal Gear game series' portal and the company's logo was removed from both the portal site and the Metal Gear Sold V website, the Los Angeles Kojima Productions website redirects Konami.com and L.A. job openings were changed from Kojima Productions to Konami USA.
The phrase "A Hideo Kojima Game" was also removed from the game titles on Konami America's Metal Gear Solid page and Kojima is no longer listed as the "Executive Content Officer" in Konami's restructuring announcement from earlier this month.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is slated to ship for multiple consoles worldwide on September 1.
