GRANRODEO Concert Demands Swimwear Dress Code for Female Attendees

posted on by Carlos Cadorniga

With an upcoming anniversary concert taking place in late October of this year, J-rock band GRANRODEO has issued an odd and unsettling dress code for any female fans in their premium seats.

For the GRANRODEO Live 2015 G10 Rock Show, any girl situated there must adhere to wearing two-piece swimsuits or bikinis; the band has also encouraged these fans to wear parkas over their revealing swimwear should the concert days prove cold.

Naturally, this has caused a divisive uproar among the fanbase. While some fans expressed elation over the new dress code, female fans became concerned about bearing a considerable amount of skin simply to get better seats at this event. Some even feared the male fans sitting in premium seats and the potential dangers of their bodies on display in provocative clothing. It remains to be seen how GRANRODEO will respond to the controversy in time for their concert on October 24 and 25, though the voices both for and against this dress code are loud and clear.

GRANRODEO has performed several anime themes over their 10-year career. Recently, three of their songs have been used as openings for Kuroko's Basketball (TV 2) and Kuroko's Basketball (TV 3).
