Uncensored version to air for premium members after the censored version

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the anime My Wife is the Student Council President (Okusama ga Seito Kaichō!) as it airs in Japan this summer. The first episode will stream at 6:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, and future episodes will stream on Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. EDT.

The stream will be available worldwide outside of Japan.

Crunchyroll will stream the uncensored version shortly after the censored episodes. The uncensored version will be for premium members only.

The series premiered in Japan on July 1. Each episode will be approximately 10 minutes long.

Studio Seven (Strange+, I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying) is animating the series. Hiroyuki Furukawa (Pocket Monsters XY, Gonna be the Twin-Tail!! animation director) debuted as a director with the anime, and he is also serving as the character designer. Dream Creation (Recorder and Randsell, Strange+) is handling production, and Dax Production (Durarara!!, Fairy Tail) is in charge of sound production. Masakatsu Oomuro (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) is serving as sound director.

Rekka Katakiri performed the opening theme song "Koisuru Hiyoko," Ayana Taketatsu performed the first ending theme song "Koi x Ai = Equation" as her character Ui Wakana, and Minami Tsuda will perform the second ending theme song "Realize" as her character Rin Misumi.

Yumi Nakata launched the series in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex, after drawing an earlier Okusama wa Seito Kaichō manga for Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha, Ltd. Ichijinsha published the seventh compiled book volume of the ongoing manga in April.
