Game developer Comcept announced on the Kickstarter campaign page for its Red Ash: The Indelible Legend game on Wednesday that Chinese digital entertainment company FUZE Entertainment has funded the project.

The announcement noted that the game's prologue "The KalKanon Incident" will be developed to completion, and will be released for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. The Kickstarter campaign had originally offered only a PC release, with a PlayStation 4 release promised if the campaign met a US$1-million stretch goal.

The campaign originally sought to raise US$800,000 in funding, and as of press time, the campaign has raised US$486,658 with four days left. Comcept stated in the announcement that, with the project now funded by FUZE Entertainment, the funds raised through the campaign will go toward more content and stretch goals. Comcept did not specify these stretch goals.

Comcept previously streamed a prototype video for the game last Saturday, and also released a playable mockup of the game on Tuesday.

Comcept is also collaborating with Studio 4°C to develop the Red Ash: Magiciada anime film, with its own accompanying Kickstarter campaign. The Kickstarter is aiming to raise US$150,000 by August 3. Each stretch goal will "unlock" a new minute of the story, with the ultimate goal of US$2,480,000 for a full-length film. As of press time, the Kickstarter has earned US$111,059 with four days left. The project added a seven-minute prologue and a six-minute special ending to the anime film's runtime on July 22.
