Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX Scrolling Shooter Game Gets Port for PS4, PS Vita, PC

Kadokawa Games announced a new installment in the long-running Darius series of side-scrolling shoot-em-up games titled Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours during the "REAL ZUNTATA NIGHT ~Dai-happyōkai 2015~ Chara-Ani×ZUNTATA" event on Sunday. The game will port the arcade game Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. Game developer Chara-Ani has opened a website for the game, which began streaming a promotional video on Sunday.

The video reveals that the game will have different modes, new bosses, and a new soundtrack. Kadokawa Games will release the game on PS4, PS Vita, and PC in winter 2015.

Taito released the Dariusburst PSP game in 2009. The game received an updated arcade version titled Dariusburst Another Chronicle in 2010, and another update titled Dariusburst Another Chronicle EX in 2011. The game has also been ported to iOS and Android.
