Yoru no Nai Kuni's Introduction, Battle Videos Streamed

PS3/PS4/PS Vita game slated for October 1 after delay

Video game news website 4Gamer began streaming the second 4Gamer×Gust "Teach Me, Professor Arukado!" video series for Gust's upcoming Yoru no Nai Kuni PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita game on Monday. In the video, Professor Arukado introduces the characters in the Ende Hotel, such as Lloyd the merchant and Simon the hotel manager.

4Gamer previously streamed the first video in the series on July 30.

Gust also began streaming a video showing the different forms Arnas can transform into during battle, including Demon Form, Rabbit Form, Phantom Form, Armor Form, and Nightmare Form.

Gust previously streamed a promotional video and a TV ad for the game on June 30, and also previously streamed two promo videos for the game on June 20.

Illustrator Yoshiku is designing the characters for the "bishōjo selvan RPG." Tadanobu Inoue is serving as chief producer and Kikuchi (Fatal Frame series) is serving as development producer. In the game, players will summon "selvans" or subordinate demons to use in battle. The game's story revolves around the fate of two young women: a half-fairy named Arnas (voiced by M.A.O), and her best friend, a saint named Rulitis (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi).

Yoru no Nai Kuni delayed its release date for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan to October 1. The game was previously slated for September 17 after an earlier delay from August 27.

To make up for the first delay, Gust announced that first-print copies of the game will include an original custom theme, as well as a download code to enable players to summon company mascot "Gust-chan" as a selvan in battle. This will be the first time that Gust-chan will appear in a Gust game as part of the game's mechanics.
