Comic Zenon Magazine's Manga Offered in English Online

Tetsuo Hara's Ikusa no Ko, Nobo and Her?, ARTE initially offered

Japanese publisher Coamix and The Silent Manga Audition Committee announced on Thursday that they are offering manga from Monthly Comic Zenon magazine in English online. All 26 of the magazine's current series "will become available in English, based on the readers' votes." The Silent Manga Audtion website already posted three titles:

Ikusa no Ko -Legend of Oda Nobunaga

A samurai adventure starring Japan's most popular historical warrior, Oda Nobunaga. Told through the signature art style of ‘Fist of the North Star’, “Keiji” etc.

Nobo and Her?

Gaining popularity with the “Invisible” protagonist, that the creator claims “Is a projection of a reader's ideal girl”. A rom-com manga about a college student and the “invisible” girl living together. The author Molico Ross is an award winner of SILENT MANGA AUDITION Japan. This is the debut series of the artist, currently gaining a strong fanbase.

ARTE

Story of a young girl in 16th century Italy, fighting her way to become a craftsman of art, a profession that was predominantly male at the time. The book sold exceedingly well for a work by a young artist, exceeding 8 reprints in a year.

Hara and Kitahara launched Ikusa no Ko in the inaugural issue of the magazine in 2010. Nobo and Her? began in 2012, and ARTE began in 2013.

Several of the other titles in the magazine have anime or live-action adaptations in the works, including Angel Heart, DD Hokuto no Ken, and Wakako-zake.
