Grand Kingdom Game's 4th Promo Video Reveals 1-Month Delay

Spike Chunsoft's PS4/PS Vita game ships on November 19

Spike Chunsoft began streaming the fourth promotional video on Thursday for its Grand Kingdom tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, revealing that the company has delayed the game from October 22 to November 19. The video also reveals the Blacksmith and Dragon Mage classes.

The video also reveals that Spike Chunsoft will release a free Grand Kingdom Lite trial version of the game, although the company has not yet revealed other details or the distribution date.

Those who pre-order the game will get a mini soundtrack CD. First editions of the game will include a "battle maiden and glory sword set," which includes a product code for: the limited class "Noble," the legendary sword "Lord Glory," the "Lord Keeper" shield, an original flag and horse for the protagonist's unit, and an original custom theme. The physical copy of the PS4 version will retail for 6,980 yen (about US$56), and the download edition will retail for 6,282 yen (US$51). The physical copy of the PS Vita version will retail for 6,480 yen (US$52), and the download edition will retail for 5,832 yen (US$47).

The game's story takes place more than 100 years after the collapse of the Ordain Empire. In the single-player campaign, players play as a new leader of a mercenary unit that accepts requests from the world's four main nations, each with their own story. However, at the same time there is a shadowy entity secretly moving behind the scenes, and this entity causes a major incident that shocks the entire continent. The game will also have online battle elements.

The new studio Monochro is developing the game, Toshihiko Deguchi (Grand Knights History) is directing the game, Chizu Hashii (Blood+, Loups=Garous - The Motion Picture character designs) is handling the character designs, and Basiscape is handling the sound.
