Haikyu! Plasters 30-Meter Character Mosaic Art in 6 Japanese Cities

The members of the Karasuno High School volleyball team is larger than life in these new art pieces.

The main protagonists of volleyball anime Haikyu!! are transforming into gigantic mosaic art images plastered on walls. Standing at 2-by-30 meters (6ft-by-98ft), several characters on the team are displayed, each face and background compiled of over 31,500 different screenshots from the anime.

The Karasuno Volleyball team members being displayed are Shoyo Hinata (pictured above), Tobio Kageyama, Daichi Sawamura, Koshi Sugawara, Asahi Azumane, Ryunosuke Tanaka, Yu Nishinoya, Chikara Ennoshita, Kei Tsukishima and Tadashi Yamaguchi.

The giant mosaics are posted in various locations across six different cities in Japan including Shibuya, Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. They were first posted on September 28 and will come down on October 4.

The second season of the anime will begin broadcast on October 3.
